KNIT PICK
This wonderful thirties coat is made up of rib and seed-knit stitches. The combination of the two stitches adds beautiful texture and dimension. It is detailed with a high collar, dolman bell sleeves, and asymmetric button closure. The front closes with 5 oversized buttons. Unlined.
ERA: There's an archival tag from a school (not sure which one). The coat is identified as American and dated 1935.
DESIGNER: no label, most likely hand-knit.
